We are looking for an individual who wishes to become the go to person for green building information in the Greater Toronto market. The successful applicant will be a dynamic, well spoken entrepreneur to lead this organization in partnership with the volunteer Board of Directors.

Member Meeting - April 9, 2008

The Chapter is holding its next members' event on Wednesday April 9th. This event is being sponsored by the Cement Association of Canada, who has been a platinum sponsor of the Chapter for the past two years.

Topic: Building Tour and Case Study of St. Gabriel's Passionist Parish and Profile of the Ontario Concrete Awards

Speakers: Roberto Chiotto, Prinicipal, Larkin Architect Ltd. and Bart Kanters, Ready Mixed Concrete Association of Ontario

Time: 5:00pm reception (light food and non-alcoholic beverages); 5:45pm presentations and building tour; 7:30pm end of event

Location: St. Gabriel's Passionist Parish, 650 Sheppard Ave East. (east of Bayview)




Elections of the Board of Directors

The Chapter held elections in February 2008 to add 6 seats on the Board of Directors, for a total of 14 Directors and 2 Honourary Directors. Please click here to meet your Board of Directors


Greater Toronto Chapter Committees

The Chapter held a Committees Workshop on Wednesday April 11 to begin the development of Committee mandates and to secure volunteer participation for each committee.

There are going to be four committees which will aid the Chapter in functioning and achieving its goals. These committees include: Business Development, Tech Education, Events & Membership, and Communications.
